Missionary work is the breath of the Church.  The Church cannot exist without mission and evangelism.  “Go and preach the Gospel to the unreached” this is the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 The congregation very well realized the fact that missionary work is not an option to be considered but it is a command to be obeyed, according to the theme of S.P.G (Society for Propagation of Gospel). Our congregation members’ contribution and involvement for the missionary work is immense.

Over whelming support of our members of the Church enable us to sponsor 40 missionaries from 12 various Missionary movements like:

  • Indian Missionary Society (IMS) National Missionary Society (NMS)
  • Friends Missionary Prayer Band (FMPB)
  • Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM)
  • Vishva Vani Blessing youth Mission (BYM)
  • Diocesan Board of Mission (DBM)
  • Gospel Echoing Missionary Society(GEMS)
  • Church Growth Missionary Movement (CGMM)
  • Christian Music Ministries (CMM)
  • Scripture Union

Voice of Zion

 Healing ministry is the part of the Gospel and the responsibility of the Church. The Congregation nearly spends 15 Lakhs for these missionaries every year.  The members of our church pray for them regularly. The missionaries delivered Gods Message to out of reach people and lead them towards God Kingdom.

  • We support 104 missionaries across India and various missionary organizations.
  • We Christ Church have built 20 churches for these organization.

Our CSI Christ Church is celebrating its centenary Year (1910-2010) on 27th September 2010 for these celebrations our pastorate committee had planed with congregation well planed so many projects. The need is very high and so we had planned to fulfill 10 projects one by one during this year.

Project Works

COME – GIVE – GLORIFY HIS Name

  • Builted a Mega Church in Buthaleda Field in Punjab – Rs. 5,00,000 (Five Lakhs) and was dedicated to glory of our lord by Rev. Anbabanthan and 26 members of our church.
  • Solar Water Heater System was erected in Government Hospital to Provide hot water to maternity ward – Rs. 1,50,000 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand) and dedicated by Rev. Karunakaran with church committee members.
  • Erected Water Doctor to poor corporations school at kuniamuthur for Hygienic Drinking Water – Rs. 30,000 (Thirty Thousand).
  • Every year we conduct Marriage to one Orphan couples at Bethel Orphanage at cost of Rs. 35000 (Thirty Five Thousand).
  • During centenary year celebration we provide cloth to poor (Dhothies and Shirt to 100 people) – Rs. 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand) and cloth to 100 poor ladies (Saree and Jacket) – Rs. 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand).
  • Every year we provide Singer Sewing Machine to 10 poor ladies and Widows during centenary year celebration – Rs.45,000 (Forty Five Thousand).
  • Helping Orphanages (Old Age Homes, Mentally Retired Children’s, Children Orphanages) – A Need of helping hands to meet their needs.
  • Giving Hygienic rich meal food (Like Asanam Meals) to 40 Orphanages Every Year (More than 4000 Members) – A Need of helping hands.
  • We conducted Medical Camps Every Year above 200 members benefited.
